Theatre

Whether you prefer being under the spotlights on stage, or proudly clapping from the crowd, Vanderhoof has a passionate theatre following. Actors of all ages can find community courses to partake in or groups to be a part of, while avid theatre-goers can enjoy a multitude of performance opportunities from piano, speech arts, vocal, string mediums and more.

Vanderhoof Public Library

There are many attractions at the Vanderhoof Public Library. Stop in to explore local history through the impressive Bill Silver Digital Newspaper Archive, or relax in the comfy chairs in the Mary John Collection area. If your timing is right, you may happen upon an art exhibit or a book reading by one of our many local artists. Families will appreciate the indoor children’s play area, making the library a must-stop with kids. Beyond books, visitors can also borrow fun and practical items such as binoculars, geocaching kits, puzzles, and more. And of course, you can check email or exchange a book using your BC OneCard library card.
